Hi to everyone who visits here 🙂
We moved to Tennessee about 2 months ago and we were here and affected by the flooding. I know it was weird to move from FL to TN and have all that happen it seemed like we brought FL weather with us. 🙂
But it was bad because my laptop drowned and my PC was also damaged by the waters. So I have this old computer of the kids that I am using but it doesn’t have any of my files on it.
So if you have any of these files listed on this blog please email them to me (comment and I will email you back).
Thanks and I will post as soon as I retrieve the files and I will send out to all those who are waiting for them.

So I was trying out for “The Greeting Farm” DT call and had to make 3 cards using their stamps, or any ones stamps but using theirs was a better way for them to see you use them in your work.
This is a card I made with their “Best Mates” Set. I actually drew the stamps by hand because I don’t own them yet but I love these and plan to buy all of them eventually. Anyway Check out my card and let me know what you think :).
Oh and yes I hand drew the treasure map, and distressed it myself as well it started out as a white piece of cardstock.
Happy Birthday to Ye

I have been busy making cards lately so no time to design new SVG’s :(. I loved how my cards came out so I thought I would share them with everyone on here and see what other people think about them.
Ok first off since it is Valentines Day is the card I made for my husband, everything of course is done by hand, hand sewn with embroidery thread (my first time doing that), the bird is from “The Greeting Farm” it is actually a stamp however I don’t have the actual stamp yet and I really liked it so I just drew it freehand but I give them credit for the actual original artwork, I just looked at it online and drew it out, then the rest is just cut cardstock. The next photo after that one is the back of the card where I covered my stitches and wrote on it.

This next card is a congrats/thank you card for my mother’s boss. She got a promotion so will be leaving and going to another place, my mother asked me if I could make her a card so they could sign it before she leaves. It is again made with cardstock and some paper, a thank you stamp that I used to stamp thank you all over the white cardstock behind the bird. I cut the FLY piece with SCAL and a little nubby dingbat/shape I found somewhere, the bird again is from “The Greeting Farm” same thing though I don’t have the stamp so I just freehand drew the image from the internet photo, hand colored with Bic markers. On the back (which I did not take a photo of) I wrote “Spread your wings and fly, congratulations on your new promotion, thank you for everything you have done for us” and then they signed it.
Congrats/Thank You Card
This last one is a Birthday card for the same boss. I used cardstock, patterned paper, opaque marker for the happy birthday, the little cupcake and guy are again from “The Greeting Farm” (they have such cute stuff over there you should really check them out, I plan to buy all these stamps on payday) and again hand drawn freehand from photo on the net, colored with Bic markers.
Please comment and tell me what you think, I love to hear other people’s thoughts on my work.

OK I have one more bookmark which would be suitable for a boy or a girl, you could make the heart nose red, or pink for a girl and black for a boy.
You’ll have to excuse the coloring of the ears on the picture below I let my 6 yo help color the ears in and they aren’t that even.
So this file consists of the mouse head portion, and the small heart for the nose, glue the heart on point out as in the picture below.
I then drew on the eyes and the whiskers and you can color in the pinks of the ears or not whatever you like, or cut small circles out of pink to fit inside the ears would be nice too.
So below you will find a picture of the .jpg cut file, the bookmark in a book, up close in a book, and then alone on a white background.
If you want the file please leave a comment and I will email it to you, please direct anyone who would like the file to here to post so I can send it directly to them. Please do not share this file with anyone without my permission (the file itself not the actual cutout).

I made this for my kids, they participate in a postal mail valentines exchange with other homeschool children so we always like to try and make something neat to send along with our valentines since candy is hard to fit in standard envelopes.
So this year I was thinking what can a kid use and would like, and it hit me a little bookmark not a full one just a little one shaped like a heart. Now the boys we send to might not like the heart so I will most likely cut theirs out of blue papers or darker colors but I still liked my idea.
This was designed in Photoshop initially, tweaked and converted in Inkscape, and tested and cut with SCAL. The follwing photos show the .jpg of the cut file, the bookmark close up on a page, a different shot of it in the book, and close up alone.
As you will see it is 2 hearts that must be overlayed and glued together, you might have to trim out the empty space a bit as it looked like it was even on the computer but didn’t cut out quite even in real life, but it’s not a big deal just trim it out a bit if you need to.
As always if you like the file and want a copy emailed to you please leave a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I have another free file for you all, I haven’t had time to test cut this one though so if you cut him/her out send me a pic and I will post it on my blog 🙂
This file is broken apart like some of my others, so he needs to be assembled after cutting, I am putting a picture of the black file here and then one in color all assembled to make putting him/her together easier.
Again if you want this please comment and in your comment let me know you want my sheep and I will email it to you. You don’t need to put your email address in the comment as it comes up on my end I believe anyway, that way it’s not out there in cyberspace for those pesky spam bots to pick up 🙂
Final layout, how the pieces go together
Of course you can cut out more legs if you like I liked it with just 2 but they are separated so you can cut more. I could see this on a scrap book page maybe with a picture of a child or baby sleeping, or someone sleeping since it seems to be a dreamy type of sheep.
Here is the black svg layout:

Wow I really have been working hard 🙂 I have another file I made of a neat bird in a tree with circles. You have to see it, I just love the retro style. This is my first attempt at making a layered file so be kind if I didn’t lay it out right 🙂 Also one more thing I cut this out big on a 12 x 12 mat but you could cut it smaller just arrange the paper differently. I just look at the SCAL mat to see where to put my paper on the mat, I can usually match it up with the numbers on the mat.
I have a few pictures below to help in cutting and putting this file together.
This is the image layout in the SVG:

This is how I layed out my paper on my mat to cut this file out:

If you like it leave a comment, if you want the file too let me know in your comment and I will send it right to you 🙂
