Dead Computers and Lost files

Hi to everyone who visits here 🙂

We moved to Tennessee about 2 months ago and we were here and affected by the flooding. I know it was weird to move from FL to TN and have all that happen it seemed like we brought FL weather with us. 🙂

But it was bad because my laptop drowned and my PC was also damaged by the waters. So I have this old computer of the kids that I am using but it doesn’t have any of my files on it.

So if you have any of these files listed on this blog please email them to me (comment and I will email you back).

Thanks and I will post as soon as I retrieve the files and I will send out to all those who are waiting for them.

Cute Little Sheep

I have another free file for you all, I haven’t had time to test cut this one though so if you cut him/her out send me a pic and I will post it on my blog 🙂

This file is broken apart like some of my others, so he needs to be assembled after cutting, I am putting a picture of the black file here and then one in color all assembled to make putting him/her together easier.

Again if you want this please comment and in your comment let me know you want my sheep and I will email it to you. You don’t need to put your email address in the comment as it comes up on my end I believe anyway, that way it’s not out there in cyberspace for those pesky spam bots to pick up 🙂

Of course you can cut out more legs if you like I liked it with just 2 but they are separated so you can cut more. I could see this on a scrap book page maybe with a picture of a child or baby sleeping, or someone sleeping since it seems to be a dreamy type of sheep.

New Blog/New File

Well this is my new craft and art blog, I had one a while back on another server but it got eaten over there and disapeared altogether. So I figured I ought to start a new one up again.

I have a Cricut Expression cutting machine, it cuts things out of paper, is primarily made for scrapbooking and card making but can be used for lot’s of other applications as well.

I also own software that I can use with it called Sure Cuts a Lot or SCAL for short, with this software I can cut anything I design in either Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape and saved as an SVG file.

So today I had a few minutes and decided to play around in AI and made a picture of some Birch trees with a little bird on them. I saved it as an SVG in Inkscape and imported it into SCAL and then cut it out of white cardstock, put it on a black background and it looks great. This is the first file I made using SCAL like this from scratch.

I am posting a picture of the file here for others to see if you like it and want the SVG file just leave me a message with your email address and I will send it to you.
